Rob, thank you for your comments. They are insightful and appreciated. We would like to be clear that WorldTV does not block any sites, indeed it is possible to add videos from almost any site that uses Flash video (which is most sites these days) if you paste in an FLV url to our ‘add clip by URL’ feature. You can find the FLV url for a video in many ways, but a popular method is to use the Safari browser and its Activity Window. (Safari is a free download for Mac and Windows). We do agree that WorldTV should support many more sites directly (simply by pasting a regular URL), and we are working on expanding the list of directly supported sites, in a way that would include smaller, more niche sites. In the meantime, if you or anyone would like a specific site supported, drop us a line to reception@worldtv.com and we’ll do our best to help.

Also, please consider adding more source video sites (like my little site and other individual sites) in the near future. If WorldTV.com really is to really represent “THE WORLD” of internet video, then you really should avoid limiting smaller source feeds and site connections and allow many, many more going forward. If that can be done, then the notoriety and authority levels of worldtv.com will exponentially increase and, could potentially make this site the ultimate video viewing site on the whole entire world wide web. But if worldtv.com blocks out the little guys and gals, which will continue to grow by millions, then that won’t happen and worldtv.com will be publicly viewed as just another Youtube/Google/AOL scraper site and then, of course, someone else will do all of the above and surpass this site in due time for sure. Really, please do this so that we all can win. Thank you.

Hi Chaz, thanks for your comments. Offering ad revenue sharing possibilities for our channel owners is a key part of our future plans. We are actively working on the ideas for how best to implement this. Unfortunately Google Adsense does not currently offer a system for embedding ads within Flash websites like WorldTV, which is a little bit of a roadblock to an easy solution. But we’re committed to this and will find a good way of doing it. Thanks!

You should really consider google adsense revnue sharing, with the ads on the bottom of the screen, for 3 seconds of the middle of every video….not sure how you could do it.
but it would be really neat to share in the profits of creating channels on your service. Just an idea and I want 55% lol
