Founders Alx Klive and Ashley Balchin are old friends. For many years both have talked endlessly about working together on … something. Finally in 2006 they got it together.

WorldTV is very much a family run affair and everyone who works here is a friend. Our team has been working together for 4 years, and we look forward to many more anniversaries.

Since the early days talking about great new things, through developing early demos, right up to the present day, the thing that gets us going each day is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We especially like creating complex features, then working very hard to make them easy-to-use.

Everything you see on WorldTV is part of a mission to make the friendliest TV-Station-in-a-Box on the Planet. We think there’s a future coming where anyone can own and operate their own TV station, and have it appear on TV. We want to make WorldTV the tool of choice for that.

We’re based in the UK & Ireland but we take a Global view. With a name like WorldTV… we’d be very silly not to. The site is translated into 8 languages, and some of our biggest users are in South America. Our small team is spread across 3 countries, and we use Skype a lot. When we do get together in person, we make sure we balance work… with a little pleasure…
